The Perfect California “Cottage”

My “cottage” is a YardCraft Fairmont 10×18 storage shed kit that I converted into an ADU (Accessory Dwelling Unit). I set this up as an adjunct to a garage conversion I did after my husband died. I sleep there every night (love it!).
My garage conversion has a lounge, dining area, large closet, office area, and full kitchen, but doesn’t have a bathroom. My guests and I use the bathroom in the ADU now.
The bedroom (13 x 10) is floored with Pergo and the bathroom (5 x 10) has marble flooring. The entire interior of the shed is drywalled and insulated. We installed a 6’ high IKEA closet at end of the bedroom. I also had a beautiful lighted pergola constructed next to the cottage. Perfect!
