Do you love the look of the Forge but just don’t have the space for it? The Forge Mini is everything you love about the Forge look without the bulkiness. It weighs 30 pounds and features the same solid build that the Forge does. The Forge pulls air in from two sources: protected air holes in the base, and through hollow legs. The air gets pulled inside the bottom of each leg. As it rises through the leg, the air becomes super heated as your fire’s internal temperature reaches up to 1,500°F. The super heated air is expelled through the top of the leg, right under the top ring, mixing with the smoke coming off the fire. This ignites a secondary burn of the smoke, nearly eliminating all visible fumes coming from your Forge.

Formed top cap is made out of 20ga heat-treated 304 Stainless Steel while the body is made out of corrosion resistant 11ga A606-4 Corten steel
Feed your fire with protected airflow from the base and each leg, with additional airflow entering through the outer skirt and into the top of the fire pit, all aiding the secondary combustion process
Top cap has a conical shape to force hot air and smoke into the center to encourage secondary combustion

Corten will naturally patina into an orange/brown coating resembling rust that will actually add a layer of protection for your fire pit. Stainless may develop a blue hue as it is exposed to flames. Any powder coated steel may bubble or chip over time.

Assembly Features

Attach each Air Flow Attachment to the Floor with the rounded edge facing out.
The end of the Air Flow Attachment will snap into each leg, lifting the floor off the ground.
Each Wall Piece will snap into a leg with the hooks facing down.
Place the Top Cap on top with the Urban Fire logo and grill pole hole aligned
Secure the Top Ring with the included bolts into each leg with a flathead or coin.
To install Urban Fire Adjustable Swivel Grill, place the grill pole down the hole in the Top Ring. Use the 2.25″ Thumb Screw to secure the pole by placing it through the hole in the leg and through the pole, and back out the other side of the leg. Secure it with the Wing Nut.

These 100% all-natural, non-toxic, and safe firestarters are made from naturally occurring resin found in the stumps of pine trees. Fatwood sticks start fast and burn hot, even when wet! There are no added chemicals or additives. It’s simply the safest way to start your fire. This product is created with wood from non-endangered pine species and using sustainable yield forestry practices.

Add Adjustable Swivel Grill – Additional $149.00

Transform your fire pit into a grill! The cooking grate for the Forge has a cooking area of 20″ x 20″. Made out of Stainless Steel with 5/8″ spacing, this kit includes the cooking grate, 20″ grill pole, stainless steel knob, two thumb screws and a wing nut, and a grill stake. The pole secures to the leg with the 2.25″ thumb screw and secures to the stake with the 1.25″ thumb screw. Fully adjustable vertically and horizontally, this grill will have your neighbors peeking over the fence!

Can you put a portable fire pit on a wood deck or grass?

Because of the heat generated underneath the firepit and the possibility of fallen embers, it is not safe to place a fire pit directly on a wood deck. Grass is not ideal for a fire pit, as it is likely to burn and kill your grass. It’s best to set a portable fire pit atop a fire-resistant surface such as a fireproof mat, pavers, or bricks.

HOW DO I MAINTAIN MY FIRE PIT? WILL THE PAINT LAST?

The paint on the interior of your fire pit may burn off within your first few burns. The paint on the exterior of your fire pit may bubble or chip with time as it wears against the elements. You can maintain your fire pit by lightly sanding any spots showing rust or missing paint. You can then use any color high-temp spray paint to touch up your fire pit to keep it looking great!

DO URBAN FIRE PRODUCTS HAVE A WARRANTY?

Our fire pits in the Urban Fire Collection have a 5 year limited warranty. We do offer replacement parts on all of our fire pits which makes fixing any issue a breeze!
