YardCraft gazebo kits range from $4,319 for the 12’ Wood Octagon up to $7,129 for the 12×18 Vinyl Oval. Vinyl tends to run a bit more than wood, and larger oval styles cost more than octagon. Most homeowners land between $4,300–$6,000—still a fraction of what a contractor-built gazebo would cost.
Not at all. Everything arrives pre-cut and labeled. The instructions are step-by-step with diagrams, and most people finish the whole project in a weekend with a friend or family member helping. No carpentry experience needed.
With basic seasonal maintenance, a YardCraft gazebo can last 20-30 years or more. Our pressure-treated lumber and quality hardware are built to handle weather, not just look good on day one.
It depends on your location. Many areas require permits for structures over 100-120 sq ft or anything with electrical. We recommend checking with your local building department before ordering-we’re happy to help with documentation if needed.
Absolutely-and it’s one of our most popular setups. We recommend a 10×12 or larger rectangle style for most hot tubs. Just make sure your base can handle the combined weight of the gazebo and a full tub.
A gazebo has a fully enclosed roof and usually includes railings, giving you complete shade and rain protection. A pergola has an open-beam roof-great for partial shade but not weather coverage. If you want a true outdoor room, a gazebo is the better choice.
